Lonely – illustration friday

It’s been a long time since I last submitted a drawing for “illustration friday”. They have updated their website. I really like the new design, check it out here!

Here is my submission for this week’s topic: “Lonely”. I thought of kids when they first go to school. They are so scared of being left alone.

Baby gender reveal party

One of my closest friend Louma and her husband Arne are having a baby girl in November. Woouhuu!

To reveal the gender of their baby, they did a super cool ‘gender reveal party’ in Dubai last month. Louma works in advertising but she loves everything related to wedding planning and parties. I love all the details she thought of, check her blog here to read more about the story and see more photos. You are going to be impressed!

Wedding cards… revealed!

The wedding cards are done and are on their way to our friends and family! We have 3 versions: Spanish, English and Arabic. Everything was written, drawn, cut, folded by hand in my tiny little studio in Beirut. Each card is very special. We’ve got a lot of positive feedback so far. The Spanish version is exactly like the english version, hand-written but with spanish letters. Hope you like them! More details revealed soon!

Sneak peek wedding preparations

Sneak peek into the wedding invitations. For those who don’t know, I am getting married in September in Lebanon : ). I am taking care of the decoration and invitations and all the tiny little details. Here is a preview of what i’ve been doing in the past month. More details to be posted soon!

Sagres Preta Chocolate

I just came across this super cool website. Sagres is a well-known beer in Portugal. Last year, they brewed their new chocolate flavored beer. To launch their latest ‘invention’, they wanted to create a special digital campaign. Check this video out for more details.

My friend posted this video today on Facebook and I fell in love with it. Everything about it is just fantastic: the colors, the music, the typography. Take a look! Isn’t it just amazing?

 

The Animal Parade SS’12

The opening of our second collection at Starch was last week : )

As revealed in the teaser, my Spring Summer ’12 collection is called “The Animal Parade”. It’s inspired by the trip we did last year to the Spanish island of Minorca. For more photos of this fantastic island, you can check the post here.

The collection narrates a journey of a group of animals as they wander around the island, discovering its gorgeous beaches, sublime landscape and serene nightlife.

Starch Spring Summer’12 Opening

I am very excited to invite you to the launch of Starch designers’ Spring Summer collections and my new collection “The Animal Parade” at Starch boutique in Saifi on Friday April 27th.
