Cuenca ’10

This weekend, we headed to Cuenca a small city in Central Spain. (165 km away from Madrid). What I loved most, are the small colored houses: each one is different then the one next to it. Lovely! Take a look!

Visit to “la fabrica de cristales de la Granja”

On thursday we went on a 2 day trip with my class in school to a glass fabric in La Granja (Segovia), la fabrica de cristales de la Granja. We were shown the manual process of producing glass, from heating, to blowing, turning and decorating each piece manually, replicating ancient pieces. We also visited the museum, that has very old pieces, as well as samples from contemporary artists.
